This blade was reground to remove the machining marks and stonewashed.
This was a mis machined blade from last year ground to full flat and finished with 100 grit. I'm always my biggest critic and can tell you there are a few j hooks near the plunge but from 2 feet away you can't tell. Mechanically works as designed and unlike most autos on the market these actually lock up solid.

Pivot- 440c caged axial bearings, hardened stainless pivot.
Lock- 440c button lock.
Handle - 6061 T6 aluminum type 3 hard coat anodized. 4.7” closed, .56” wide
Hardware- Stainless hardware and ambidextrous tip up clip

Estuary Riptide Automatic Regrind
The Estuary Riptide auto is the first variation of the Highwater knives Estuary. With a ball bearing pivot on one side and custom machined phosphor bronze washer on the other this auto delivers a smooth action with the solid lockup my customers have come to expect. As always proudly machined, heat treated, and assembled in my garage in Utah.
